Surprise y’all, we’re putting out new music today! If you’ve been to one of our shows anytime in the past couple years, you might have heard us play this tune. It’s one of my favorite songs. I first heard it in the background of a movie, which prompted me to find the album at Papa Jazz Record Shoppe back when I lived in Columbia.
It’s a simple but beautiful melody written by Ronnie Lane and originally recorded by Faces. It was also recorded by Golden Smog. If you haven’t heard those versions, look them up! Here is our contribution. Check out the links and let us know what you think!
