So glad to be announcing that we are playing on July 11th for the Abari drive-in concert series with our friends Hungry Girl and Justin Fedor! Such a cool idea to play music on a rooftop too. Can’t say I’ve ever done that before, and I’ve played in a lot of strange places. Thanks to the folks at Four Finger Records for having us and for putting this together. It’s $40 dollars per car with a limit of 45 cars. Otherwise, you can stream the show online via Twitch.
WNCW has been a real supporter of ours through the years and we very much appreciate them spinning our tunes and having us in studio too! They are a one of a kind radio station and we love them. Joe Kendrick (of WNCW) asked us to come on his podcast Southern Songs and Stories and talk music and the south with him. He’s doing great things with this series so give it a spin if you will. Check out all the other great episodes as well.
Our friends Dylan and Eddie from the Comfort Monk podcast asked me a to contribute a song to their first compilation. The idea was for local artists to cover artists that have been on the podcast. They asked me to contribute a song by Grant Lee Phillips. Total quarantine jams right here. Give all the tunes on this project a spin. Lots of great names I’m honored to be included with as well as just some great tunes. Oh yea. It’s free.
A few weeks back Joni Deutsch, who also interviewed us for her NPR Podcast Amplifier asked us to chat about how we are dealing with life during quarantine and play a few tunes. We joined her on via Zoom and FB live for #Songversations. Check it out at the link below! Reach out and let us know how you’re doing during these crazy times.
We’re so excited to announce that we will be at Bristol Rhythm and Roots this year making multiple appearances as a band as well as solo performances! Can’t wait y’all.
What an amazing weekend we had opening up for The Devil Makes Three all over the Carolinas. Thanks to their crew for working with us and for all you fine audience members out there. Check out all our upcoming dates below and come hang out. 🤟

We want to make sure you all know about our next hometown play! We’ll be at the Evening Muse for the first time since 2018, when we recorded a live album there. Sharing the stage will be Front Country. They are a great band out of Nashville TN who we opened up for at The Grey Eagle in Asheville, as well as the Live on The Green concert series, 1st Ward Park uptown Charlotte. Cheers y’all. Hope to see you there.
Surprise y’all, we’re putting out new music today! If you’ve been to one of our shows anytime in the past couple years, you might have heard us play this tune. It’s one of my favorite songs. I first heard it in the background of a movie, which prompted me to find the album at Papa Jazz Record Shoppe back when I lived in Columbia.
It’s a simple but beautiful melody written by Ronnie Lane and originally recorded by Faces. It was also recorded by Golden Smog. If you haven’t heard those versions, look them up! Here is our contribution. Check out the links and let us know what you think!
Did we mention our new album Songs to No One is out now on all digital platforms? It came out back on September 6th, but we wanted to make a post here on our homepage just to make sure you didn’t miss it!
